Cake Sizes & Starting Prices

Pricing is based on 3 layers of cake, filled and topped with American Buttercream.

  • 5" Mini (Serves 4–6) — Starts at $65

  • 6" Small (Serves 8–12) — Starts at $105

  • 7" Mid (Serves 10–15) — Starts at $135

  • 8" Standard (Serves 15–24) — Starts at $175

  • 9" Large (Serves 20–30) — Starts at $225

  • 10" Crowd (Serves 25–38) — Starts at $285

A Note on Customization: Base prices include a smooth buttercream finish and a custom color palette with sprinkles. Final quotes are determined by design complexity, such as fillings, custom toppers, fresh florals, gold leaf, or intricate piping work.

How Much Cake Do You Need?

I provide a serving range based on how you slice your cake. Party Slices (the lower number) are large 2-inch wide wedges — perfect for birthdays. Event Slices (the higher number) are professional 1” x 2” grid slices — ideal for larger events.

Note: Base prices include a smooth buttercream finish. Final quotes depend on design complexity.

  • Vanilla: Vanilla cake with vanilla American buttercream.

    Chocolate: Chocolate cake with rich chocolate American buttercream.

    Pumpkin: Pumpkin cake with maple vanilla American buttercream.

    Strawberry: Strawberry cake with strawberry American buttercream.

    Funfetti: Funfetti cake with vanilla American buttercream.

    Red Velvet: Red velvet cake with vanilla American buttercream.

    Espresso: Vanilla espresso cake with espresso American buttercream.

    Upgraded fillings (jams, Nutella, etc.) are available for a small additional fee.

  • Salted Caramel: Smooth caramel with sea salt, ideal for Espresso, Chocolate, or Pumpkin cakes.

    Nutella: Creamy hazelnut spread, great for Chocolate or Vanilla cakes.

    Strawberry Jam: Sweet strawberry jam, complementing Strawberry, Vanilla, or Lemon cakes.

    Base pricing includes buttercream filling. Upgraded fillings (jams, Nutella, etc.) are available for a small additional fee.

  • Our baby-friendly option so your little one gets their own cake to enjoy. No sugar added and made with banana, cream cheese, unsalted butter, eggs, oat flour, unsweetened applesauce, vanilla extract, baking powder, and cinnamon.

  • All AK Cakes DMV products are prepared in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. While I follow strict cleaning protocols, I cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. Visit the FAQs for item-specific allergen details.

$35 per dozen with no filling and topped only with buttercream.

$40 per dozen with filling and/or toppers (final price may vary based on request).

Starts at $45. A 2-layer, 4-inch round banana cake for the littlest guest of honor.
